Mark Wahlberg accepted two awards at the Critics Choice Movie Awards for Lone Survivor. Hey guys thanks for tuning into Trophy Life only on Clevver for the latest news this award show season. Mark Wahlberg took the stage at the award show ceremony not only to accept his win as Best Actor in Lone Survivor but also as a Producer for Best Action Movie,BUT before we talk about him dedicating the awards to our country’s real heroes, take a look at the awkward receipt exchange that took place for… tax purposes…
A little funny moment before things got serious as he began to give thanks saying quote, “I really want to thank everybody across America who spent two hours going to pay tribute to these guys that dedicated their lives to affording us the freedom that sometimes we have a tendency to take for granted.”
Wahlberg went on to thank the soldiers who lost their lives that day as well as his family for allowing him to pretend to do something as important as being a soldier in Afghanistan.
This patriotic tribute that portrays one of the deadliest incidents of the Afghan war is definitely a must see and in my opinion very deserving of these awards but what do you think? It went up against The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Iron Man 3, Rush and Star Trek into Darkness do you think any of these should have won or were you happy with The Lone Survivor taking the award for Best Action Movie.
